Prince Harry’s memoir is dropping in a mere matter of weeks (January 10, 2023), and apparently it’s the opposite of chill. While Harry hasn’t given any indication that Spare will be taking aim at the royal family, the Sunday Timesjust dropped some new information that makes it pretty clear Harry’s about to spill some royal tea.
According to the newspaper, Harry’s autobiography “includes claims about the monarchy that are more incendiary than those made in the Netflix series.”
A source close to the Sussexes also noted that after Harry’s book, he and Meghan will “focus on their service work” instead of “anything personal,” and “they’re looking forward to people being interested in what they’re doing beyond all the drama.”
Soooooooo (speaking of drama), what’s in Harry’s memoir? TBD, but a Page Sixsource says “There’s a lot of new stories in there about the past that Harry has not spoken about before, about his childhood.…There is some content in there that should make his family nervous.”
Meanwhile, royal author Andrew Morton told Us Weekly that Charles should be particularly nervous, saying “If I was Prince Charles, I’d be looking for a pile of coats to hide under. I think we’re going to see Charles once more in the firing line.”
Quick reminder: this is what Harry’s said about his memoir thus far….
“I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become. I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story—the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned—I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”
