Prince Harry and Prince William are no closer to reconciling after the publication of Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare, where—in case you missed it, which…doubtful—he absolutely went off about his brother. That is, when he wasn’t busy chatting about his frostbitten “todger.”
Basically, imagine your most dramatic fight with your sibling, multiply it by 1,000, add several crowns and a sceptre, and you have William and Harry’s drama. Which is amplified by the fact that their father King Charles’ coronationis happening in a mere matter of months.
“William is the one who is most upset and needs time to calm down,” a source tells People. “He has been painted as hotheaded and unsympathetic. But I don’t think he will back down — it’s whether they can move beyond it and accept that they view things differently.”
Meanwhile, Charles wants things to “calm down” before his coronation on May 6. “It is such a momentous occasion for Charles, and he would want his son to be at the coronation to witness it,” a source muses. “He would like to have Harry back in the family. If they don’t sort it out, it will always be part of the King’s reign and how he has left his family disjointed. He has had a reputation as a distant parent, and it would be awful for him for that to continue.”
