Bobby Cannavale Is Returning For The “Will & Grace” Revival
Even more familiar faces will be knocking on the door of Will’s apartment when Will & Grace premieres on NBC later this month.
In addition to Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally returning to reprise their roles, the cast of the classic sitcom has been teasing the return of guest actors from the original run like Minnie Driver and Harry Connick Jr.
Now Bobby Cannavale, who played Vince D’Angelo, Will’s boyfriend, and eventual husband, has been spotted on set according to an Instagram post from Messing.
“It just gets better and better. ANOTHER fan fav from our little show of yesteryear,” she wrote in the caption of the photo of her and Cannavale on the sitcom’s set.
In 2005 Cannavale won an Emmy for his role on Will & Grace, but how he will return this time around is still a mystery.
In the original series finale Will and Vince were happily married, but the upcoming revival will ignore that ending with Will and Grace living together again.
The new 16-episode season will reunite the original cast along with creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, who will serve as showrunners. James Burrows, who helmed every episode of the original run, will return to direct. The revival has already been renewed for another season set to premiere next year.
